[Neo/TAI] Brown Sugar Oatmeal Squares

This is the runner deck I ran in the first Neo league. It could be a good deck for anyone who wants to try out Neo.

There’s nothing particularly innovative here, it’s just the good criminal cards and econ/multiaccess imports. Your gameplan is to set up, getting Class Act, Info Bounty, and/or DreamNet down quickly, and using Boomerang and Inside Job to threaten remotes while playing your econ run events or leveraging Info Bounty on any uniced marks. Don’t be afraid to facecheck though, a lot of the bad facechecks are much less so when you have nothing installed. Try to avoid installing icebreakers for as long as possible other than any that get you into HQ if you have WAKE Implant installed, then try and transition into the midgame where you’re accessing a bunch of cards from R&D with Backstitching and Boomerang. Once you’re fully set up with Cezve, breaking ICE becomes more palatable.

With the Drago ban, No Free Lunch may no longer be necessary, so if you find you don’t need it, adding a third Carpe Diem/Dirty Laundry is probably where I’d start. You could slot Pennyshaver in for Hermes, but the econ felt pretty good. Across 8 games I had to click for 24 credits (not awful, but still 24 more than I’d like), so a little more econ would be nice. Hermes is a hard console to quantify though, and every time I think about cutting it, it has some disgusting game where it does things only it can do to the corp. Hermes has a big delta between its floor and ceiling, so Pennyshaver would be the consistency choice. Finally, if you hate fun, you could cut the Reprise for a third Dirty Laundry/Carpe Diem.

I used to run 2x Paladin and one more Carpe Diem over Bahia Bands, Finality, and Mystic Maemi. I’d go back to 2 Paladins if it gets unbanned. You could also cut a Cezve at this point (4 cards for Twinning feels like the right amount) for a Dirty Laundry.
