Proto-Nasir deck, in anticipating for the new datapack!
Basically, get out an SMC (and/or Clone Chip) and facecheck astoundingly aggressively. Use your money prior to a burn to deploy Atman at whatever strength necessary, or a parasite.
If you get Crypsis or Morningstar or MO or Toolbox, shove it onto that Workshop and use any new facechecks as needed. Do not get TAGGED, until you're already done with using Workshop aggressively.
Wyrm is used for restarting the datasuckers if you ever get purged at a bad time. Tutor for Nerve Agent as needed when you can hit HQ multiple times in one turn, though it will invite wipes.
If you encounter expensive multi-sub ice, either bust out Morning Star, or parasite the bastard to death.
Opus ensures endgame economy.
We'll see how this sort of deck plays, but I'm /very/ curious at what power Nasir can bring to the Shaper rush game. Since now after all, you don't need money for both rig and runs... you can do both at the same time to set up that stuff fast.
Other Alterations I'm considering is upping Dirty Laundries in exchange for less Sure Gambles. And possibly finding room for Snitch or more Parasites. I'm not horribly worried by 0 or 1 rez cost ICE blanking out my account, as those die horribly fast to Parasites.

I like it! I think Nasir has potential to be used in a lot of useful ways. Have you considered more cards that give you recurring credits, since there is no danger of losing those? Cyberfeeder might be helpful. Wyrm also seems like a weird choice for a deck with a potentially unstable economy. I would be interested to see what other toys the new cycle will give Nasir room to play with as well. |

Playtested this a few times with Proxies. Worked actually pretty decently in busting what I feared, which was CI (Morningstar, Nerve agent) and the 1/0 cost ICE that normally wrecks Nasir's money pool (Ie, Popups and Quandry) I think I may want to swap the Dirty Laundry for something else. But it works well with Nasir. If they stop you with ICE, you write off your non-existant credits and get an even bigger boost! But the Armitages were too valuable to boot back up. Wyrm never came into play alas, so I may swap that out for a 3rd Parasite. |
