the NEXT big thing

This is my second Bioroid NEXT deck, i used the older verion of my deck in my local summer kit and did reasonably well, however, that tournament did show me where some weaknesses in my deck were so after some tweaking and testing a new revamped deck is born.

the idea behind this deck is simple; Score agendas while having plenty of ice to throw around. NEXT Design: Guarding the Net 's ability helps with that from the get-go allowing you up to 3 pieces of ICE from your opening hand. in an ideal situation you want to be seeing NEXT Silver or NEXT Bronze or Datapike for that early game HQ and R&D defence. This is especially true as the new cycle from 23 Seconds has allowed corps and runners alike to be very aggressive indeed and the extra defence from NEXT Design: Guarding the Net is very welcome indeed!

Secondly this deck provides a "burst" factor for scoring agendas, from cards such as Biotic Labor and Shipment from Kaguya allowing you to score quick agendas. in addition to this Advanced Concept Hopper and Accelerated Beta Test are very easy to score. Additionally it makes Priority Requisition easier to score and use its effect of ICE rez for free.

In terms of credit pool i have tried to balance the burst economy of Hedge Fund and Blue Level Clearance and the slow roll economy of Melange Mining Corp. and Adonis Campaign. On a similar note I would HIGHLY recommend running Green Level Clearance as well as Blue Level Clearance but since i do not have the pack with GLC in, i have adapted the deck appropriately (or tried!)

Now for the explanation of why Ash 2X3ZB9CY is in this deck, well for starters it is a trace4 which in the worst case scenario, wastes the runners credits, especially if you can bluff your opponent into running and wasting their credits on a 'less valued' card. However, i use Ash 2X3ZB9CY for preventing account siphons and other such cards. put ASH behind your roots (R&D or HQ). Possibly tweak and run 2 Ash 2X3ZB9CY as the 'meta' seems very aggro at the moment.

I hope you find inspiration from my decklist as i have spent a lot of time building and am always looking for ways to improve! Tweaks will come in the future!

Side note: I have yet to buy more datapacks and sets in order to get maximum efficiency from the deck, but i am having very much fun trying out new things!
