Gabe the Investment Professional

He's already the consummate professional. Now he's learned from the best!

Card choices:

Fisk Investment Seminar: Gives criminals the in-faction draw that they need. If you save this for when the corp has 5 cards in hand, you can flood HQ pretty easily. Combined with Account Siphon, you can force the corp into a no-win situation. They will have to click for credits, install cards they cannot afford to rez, or pitch the ICE and have a hand that they are probably uncomfortable with. Without much ICE on the board, you've essentially extended the early game and one or two breakers will probably suffice until they re-stabilize.

Legwork: With fewer cards in HQ, Fisk Investment Seminar + Legwork essentially becomes The Maker's Eye. Considering upping this to 3 for more consistency.

Account Siphon: A Criminal standard. Running 3 of these, pretty much no question.

The Maker's Eye: Just a 1-of. Considering changing this for something else. But sometimes, it's just what you need.

Hades Shard: A lot of corp players will feel safe pitching their agendas to Archives with a Jackson Howard on the board. You can trick runners into pitching their Agendas you've drawn into their hand with this. Hades Shard is sure to catch someone off guard.

Symmetrical Visage: Mini-proco. You'll probably be drawing a bunch while setting up and every credit helps.

Same Old Thing: This is usually just two more siphons, but it also doubles as an extra Legwork/The Maker's Eye.

Datasucker: Makes runs cheaper. That's cool

Parasite: Kills the ICE that the corp didn't pitch. Make them sad.

Potential Changes

-3 Dirty Laundry, +2 Bank Job, +1 Plascrete/Breach

TL;DR: Make early game all game

Very nice, I love seeing Gabe again and thought about something similar. How do you feel about adding an HQ Interface for more Sneakdoor Beta pressure instead of one legwork? I am also running Security Testing for some moneyz to be able to keep the pressure up :)

Only the one Fracter and no recursion, even with Parasite, is difficult for me to swallow. Overall I like the deck, and would probably (like @sod_timber_wolf) look into switching the Legworks for a/couple of HQ Interfaces.

@sod_timber_wolf I'm not personally a huge fan of HQ interface. It's 4 to install and kinda encourages the corp to defend their HQ and Archives more than usual. I do agree that it's better to have multiple HQ interfaces when the corp is sitting at 5+ cards (after a Fisk Investment Seminar), but I think the Legworks are lighter on your credit pool and can get the job done. I'll try it out again, though.

@kollapse Only one fracter scares me, too. I'll either drop a Faerie for a Breach or a parasite for a second Corroder. Leaning towards the former, though.

I'd drop the dirty laundry. With Datasucker and Gabe, there are often no servers to use it on. Bankjob is twice the money/card. I don't like the 2x Datasucker, given how early this deck wants it. I'd consider dropping TME for another + stimhack, or upgrading the Yog to zu.

@Thike I agree with dropping the Dirty Laundry and swapping to Bank Job. It was already on my mind, and even though it's nice super early, it definitely becomes worse as the game goes on.

@Thike I agree with dropping the Dirty Laundry and swapping to Bank Job. It was already on my mind, and even though it's nice super early, it definitely becomes worse as the game goes on. My latest revision has the 3x Dirty Laundry changed to Bank Job , and actually changed TMe to an R&D Interface.
