There are quite a number of Ken Notoriety decks on NetrunnerDB from the last few days but I believe mine own diverges in two minor regards: Security Testing and Knights. Security Testing strikes me as an obvious option for economy because of the number of run events cards I am already using that prohibit me from accessing cards. Indexing and Feint both qualify and I'm not terribly concerned about accessing when several cards in my deck only require a successful run on a particular server (Emergency Shutdown, Notoriety). It also doesn't hurt that it's limitless and potentially far faster than our beloved Kait Jones. I'm fond of Knight for simply how flexible it is and I've seen its success in earlier Gabe decks. If the corp chooses to trash a piece of ice in order to kill my knights, it makes those servers that much shorter for Inside Job and Feint.

Finally, if you get the reference in the Deck title, I commend you for your knowledge of contemporary science-fiction.

++ For reference.

Just making sure you know that you can't use multiple "instead of accessing" effects in one run. So you can't Indexing + Security Testing on the same run. Unfortunately.

Still a solid gameplan, though.

Is Corroder really a better option than Breach? You seem to OK with just focusing on centrals, looking at Passport. Would free up some influence for Stimhack, Quest Complete, or anything else.

knight covers 1 type of ice on remotes, so passport is fine.

@Thike - thanks for the clarification on "instead of accessing" affects. I'm most heart broken that it blocks multiple security testings from triggering on the same server.

I had my first few games with this deck tonight and it worked really well in each case. Knight definitely was the MVP, allowing for a cheap lockdowns on R&D early on. Additionally, Security Testing worked really well. Although I only used it generate a few credits, it did force the corp to ICE up archives leaving both HQ and R&D shallowly protected. And in two games, Notoriety provided game point. It was a refreshing experience as a runner to realize that victory was completely in my grip and didn't rely on a lucky draw.

Aw, contemporary science-fiction? I thought it was a reference to a Haruki Murakami novel. Oh well.

Have you made any changes since the lunar cycle has come out?
