Work in progress. Comments/suggestions welcome.
I've cut this down to 54 from the previous 59.
Main changes:
PAD Campaign has replaced Sundew
Shi.Kyū wasn't as effective as hoped, so was dropped
Dropped Janus 1.0 for Architect which is always helpful.
As much as I love it, I dropped Shell Corporation for Melange Mining Corp.. It isn't nearly as fun, but the only "burst" econ. If I have Melange out, I'm set for money.
Another one I love, but dropped - Excalibur. Also added Swordsman to counter Eater.
Added Cyberdex Virus Suite to counter Imp. Until O&C is released, I've been using its less effective cousin, Cyberdex Trial.
Ronin and Red Herrings really shine. Especially if you can score Utopia Fragment early.
It is definitely better, but is missing "something" to make it great. Consistency, I think. I'd love to take this to Store Champs (just a few days after the release of O&C), but I'm just not sure.

Interesting thought about Sundew and PAD Campaign. I dropped Excalibur because I wasn't sure what to cut, quite honestly. I could drop a Chronos Project and go with 3X Fetal AI but that Chronos is incredible vs. recursion decks. So the next thing to look at is Caprice Nisei. Not sure I want to make that trade. I could go back up to 59 cards, but I don't think I really want to. |
What precipitated the Excalibur drop? It's always seemed handy to me; put it on archives and nine times out of ten you get some time to recover from them annulling your ability.
Did you consider going Sundew and PAD Campaign instead of PAD and Melange? I've found that the cash flow gets pretty terrifying, and it leaves you more clicks to act with.
