Straight to Business Chaos v0.1

Roz 15

The goal is to have a fast deck with a simple, but effective, rig. Have yet to test the deck, so things won't probably work as I intend them to (hence the v0.1).

Rig

Fast rig setup with Diesel, Test Run and Self-modifying Code. Dinosaurus should host Femme Fatale to make it cheaper to break sentries, but it can host the other breakers if the situation calls for it. Scavenge is there to recycle Cerberus "Lady" H1 and to redirect the Femme target. Can also be used to permanently install her for free, after a Test Run.

Economy

Economy is powered by Magnum Opus, Dirty Laundry and Sure Gamble. Modded makes it cheap to install hardware and aleviates paying for Femme and Opus.

Agression

R&D lock with Indexing and R&D Interface and HQ pressure with Legwork. Account Siphon to deny the corp scoring windows and buy us some time to build economy and keep accessing R&D with our efficient breakers.

Finally, Same Old Thing helps recur some important events. Depending on the game state, it allows for more Lady/Femme reinstalls, Indexes, Siphons and Legworks.

Couldn't find the space for a Hades Shard and Escher but I will, someday.

No meat/net damage prevention worries me a bit.

How do you deal with sentries? Looks like you only have a Femme Fatale for that.

The goal is to have Femme Fatale at 4 strength, by being hosted in Dinosaurus, essentialy saving 4 credits each time we use her. To deal with monster ICE, such as Archer and Janus 1.0, I would probably use her bypass ability anyway. Scavenge ensures we can install her early and still redirect her ability if needed.

I run something similar to this, and code siphon is the absolute shit for this type of deck.

@x3r0h0ur, I was considering Code Siphon but I think that Test Run and Self-modifying Code are enough to tutor everything for now. I'm hoping the economy can sustain the installs after the tutor, but if not, swapping SMC for Code Siphon might just be the right move to do.

for me, I put 1 mimic and took out the test runs, reducing the reliance on test run + scavenge, you simply need to (eventually) clear the tag, which doesn't require 2 cards. Its a tutor and install in 1 card.

@x3r0h0ur, yeah, @xpointsh concerns were right on the spot. After a few runs with this list last night, I found out that although the Dinosaurus Femme Fatale works fine for regular breaking, it needs more setup time than I expected. I've included a Mimic to deal with small sentry breaking early game. It will eventualy be replaced by Femme.

As for Code Siphon over Test Run, I don't know. Test Run allows heap and stack searching, so it can cover our asses if a program is trashed. I could consider trading it for Self-modifying Code, but it's hard doing it because SMC has that trademark flexibility.

I'm preparing the next version and will post it tonight, after game night. I've swapped Diesel for Quality Time as I think the deck still needs to be even faster. Legwork got reduced to a one-of and I introduced 3xTinkering to facilitate early runs and Account Siphon when the rig isn't fully online. I've also dropped Dirty Laundry as it feels quite awkward when I have Magnum Opus installed.

I still have 3 influence to spend in the new list, but I'm already at 40 cards, so I have to play with it a little more and find what I can do with it.
