After we took Anarch to the NY Showdown and Shaper to CBI, TorpedoTyrus self-proclaimed the Crimbruary and conceptualized a lot of ideas for underplayed IDs. After we tested a few rounds of Los the day before and were only semi happy with the results, he said he had a reasonable Merc list.

As I knew from Testrunning, Mercury is able to perform very well and it's also our favourite nb assasin. After a few test games, the deck proved to be very fun and I didn't want to bring boring stuff to an AMT anyway. Reprise is a hell of a card, there's nothing better than Inside Job remote -> bounce the unrezzed hq ice -> bounce the rezzed hq ice -> run hq for 2 cards -> doof. Also, nobody needs real breakers.

The basic idea of the influence spend was the synergy of Bankhar and Mercury's ID. Bankhar is good in most situations and doesn't need any other cards to work and supports the general gameplan of ‘just touch 7 points’ well. We get around crim's redundancy problem because we can loose pretty much every card. Be aware that you need to install Eru and Pretty before bankhar though.

For an expected fast meta (especially Ob, Asa and Azmari, including Eminent Domain decks), tools that can handle early and aggressive jams are important. Besides Bankhar, our deck deals with those using Inside Job, Boomerang and, stretching the purpose, Diversion of Funds.

For the midgame and as a disruption, Hermes and Reprise are used to deal with Archers and expensive ICE. Between Eru, Jailbreak, our ID and pretty, there are enough options to find agendas in important turns. Since we target every central server while we still have decent remote-breaking capabilities, ice is usually pretty spread out, giving us enough options to get accesses.

Falsified Credentials, along with the credits and the turtle counter it provides, serves as insurance that we don't have to waste the bypass tools and make expensive runs.

The rest of the deck consists of event econ and (admittedly quite little) draw. Cupellation is good for SDS and works well with Inside Job. Steelskin works very well with bankhar, but is also decent draw and protects us from some kill lines.
