Double Double

SgtoSunshine 7

So with the new cards coming out I was curious if it was possible to use Starlight Crusade Funding and not be terrible. With MaxX's draw I'm hoping to pull everything I need relatively quickly. Perhaps swap in Inject for something? I'm relatively new to the game so I'm not sure if this is at all worth it over other economy packages. :/

I'm not sure what new cards make it worth it, but I dare say that the Double Event econ is pretty solid. There was a deck way back, running out of Andromeda with it as well. I think though, that you 'need' 3x Lucky Find and 3x Power Nap for sure. Possibly also 3x Queen's Gambit. Add in a Chopbot or two, to turn off Starlight when necessary.

@aermet69The new one I'm thinking of in particular is Adjusted Chronotype which cancels out the click loss from Starlight Crusade Funding

At a minimum, I'd remove Queen's Gambit for a Lucky Find. You have 2 inf free. LF is a 6 credit gain for 1 (With SLC). Queen's Gambit is a 6 credit gain for 1 (With SLC) with two drawbacks. Lucky Find is strictly better in this case.

I'm messing around with this idea too. I think adding in Wyldside might be worthwhile too. Chronotype gives you that click back as well, so you can draw 3 cards a turn with MaxX. Granted, you can then get in to issues where you want both out, and can't afford both clicks.

I'd also consider putting in a Morning Star instead of Corroder. You've got 2 Retrieval Runs in the deck. I assume Corroder is there primarily to defeat Wraparound and tiny barriers. But Morningstar will either be free from RR, or cost you 6 more than Corroder. Assuming you're breaking something like an Eli, MS pays for itself in 2 encounters.

I'm working on this same idea, and trying to figure out the best route too.

@Wookiee That makes sense. I was just concerned about being in the situation where I'm dry on credits. I'll try it with the 3 Lucky Find. I am hesistant to add Wyldside, and mainly for the reasons you already stated.

You are right in that I have the Corroder to deal with wraparound and tiny barriers, but giving Morning Star a try sounds like a plan.

I was talking to someone else and how does dropping two Femme Fatale sound? It frees up the influence to add another Lucky Find, and then I can add a few other cards. Here's an updated version.
