This is a deck still in development, it is fun to play but I don't know if it competitive, need to play more games with it.

Standard combo: The idea of John Masanori + Data Leak Reversal + Crash Space is not new, however Iain fits it perfectly, since you can gather enough credits to make a final run on Archives with Crypsis without moving a finger. At some point, the game is just "Trash 2, your turn".

Try to get out Mr. Li ASAP! Mulligan for him or Hostage. Facecheck any corp servers for an ICE that only ends the run, as Johnny wants to give you a tag. Get out the combo fast, then let the corp play its game.

Extended combo: If trashing 2 cards is not good enough for you, you can extend it to 3 cards a turn via Joshua B. and New Angeles City Hall. However, you need to pump your Crypsis still, so you'd need Access to Globalsec and at least 1 Underworld Contact as well. This might be a little too slow, however if you have got the piece on hand, why not play it? Don't give away what Mr. Li offers you...

End game: There are three possible ways to end the game, depending on the ICE and ICE depth on Archives as well as Agenda development of the croporation. 1. Pump Crypsis, then make a run on Archives. Normally you will sit on 20+credits, so this should not be the problem. Swordsman gives you the middle finger, so in case you know the corp plays it you should have a second Crypsis as backup. 2. Deck the corp. This will take about 2 or 3 turns longer than the first possibility, so use it only when the corp is not on matchpoint.

  1. Support Activists and Blackmail your way to success. The needed combo pieces can be gathered via Logos if needed. Since we don't have Aesop's Pawnshop, play Activist Support the turn before you run.

Possible Alternatives: Maybe the whole Blackmail thing is just too slow. I might replace it by another The Source and 3 Express Delivery as a one-time super-Li. Another thing is that Crypsis needs clicks to break ICE. Might replace it with Overmind.

Weaknesses: Jackson Howard. If he shows up, make sure you trash him quickly! 9 cards put back into R&D is no fun at all... CI: Did not have good matchups against this ID, since it holds its full deck on the hand. Maybe i should switch to extended combo if that is fast enough. Swordsman: As mentioned above, you need a second Crypsis as a backup.

Another glaring weakness would be swordsman, and power shutdown, two not-uncommon cards. Wraparound, too, is expensive for crypsis.

I also agree that the activists-blackmail thing is a bit slow. If money is no issue, Running Interference could be brutal. Johnny doesn't actually need to hit ice; you can jack out before accessing cards, and the run is considered unsuccessful. Also, why carapace? You have three crash spaces and NACH, you can ride out scorched like a champ.

Overall I feel the deck looks a bit slow, and I would worry about the lack of breakers. You only have Logos to look for them, and even if you get him out Crypsis is super expensive as a breaker. Get Kati Jones in here somewhere; awesome for racking up burst economy.

Don't use Overmind as your sole breaker. You would be able to break a grand total of 4 subroutines before it was useless.

Interesting idea, though; let me know how it plays!
