Road To Startup CO - PE TagN'Bag

Hi everyone! I am hosting a Startup CO with the new ban list in the Seattle area 3/9, and thought it would be fun to post a weekly Startup deck idea until the tournament. The key word is “idea”, I hope it I get peoples deck building juices flowing for the tournament, these decks are not refined. Hope to see y’all then!

This week is a fulfillment of a request for a “tag and bag” style deck. The easy way out would’ve been R+, but I wanted to more creative. I decided to bring this archetype to ID, PE. This is the ID that is champion of the JNET rando. I wanted to make something truly hateful.

How does it work!?

The goal is to spam assets to create a board state that challenges the runners ability to perfectly manage their resources: cards, clicks and credits. Not doing so opens up lines for kill or maybe score.

Tips and tricks: 1) 1 copy of Oppo-use when the runner is broke or opens window to advance your board state by spamming more cards. Tag and Bag finisher 2) Snare -if the runner is aggressively running face downs, plop one on the board to cause hesitation. 3) Keeling and Bladderwort - likely won’t be finishers but saps resources if they want to chase. 4) Reaper function - kill combos if they hammer centrals 5) Regenesis- Combo with Spin to get to 4 points. This creates panic to land the tag and bag
