Ser Gabriel the Blackguard vHJ 1.0

HepatitvsJ 244

This is my attempt to make a Gabriel blackboard deck. It feels more control based than aggressive, which is a playstyle I prefer. I still need to drop 3 cards ( 1 each of blackguard, infiltration, and inside job maybe?) I'm looking for feedback and suggestions before my next tournament March 22. Thanks.

Drop the implants, they're not worth it. For the third cut, an Infiltration sounds reasonable.

Alternatively, you could keep the Infiltrtion and drop the FAOs - from my experience playing vs. Blackguard decks, ICE will be all rezzed anyway, and stuff that isn't rezzed you're keeping that way intentionally (and rezzing it with a Snitch run is 1 credit and a card cheaper than a FAO.

I'd probably drop the 2 Implants and the 2 FAOs and use the 45th card slot to get a Raymond. He's mid-run expose on any ICE, which can become really hard to play around if Blackguard's on the table.

I forgot about Raymond. I know I wanted him in my silhouette deck when I was gathering expose effects. I had put the e3 in the other builds for knight. With an e3 out a Knight breaks an archer for 5, either ichi for 4, any other bioroids are easy to break as well leaving my knight to break other ICE. It worked a couple games during the last tournament. I'll try without the e3 for the next tournament and see what happens. I think ill also go with a third snitch so I might draw it sooner, and go aggressive. Ill drop the last FAO for it. Thanks.
