Shoulders of Giants

Lttlefoot 1285

NOTE: Rabbit Hole is a proxy for Tyson Observatory, a repeatable hardware tutor from Breaker Bay that is in the database but not yet available for deckbuilding.

So what happens when Darwin meets Tyson? Science! There are several hardwares that make up for Darwin's drawbacks:

Cyberfeeder can pay the upkeep cost of 1 credit per turn.

e3 Feedback Implants can reduce the cost of ice with multiple subs.

The Personal Touch boosts the minimum strength of Darwin in case you get virus purged.

D4v1d also likes Tyson, and can team up with Darwin to fight off bigger ice. D4v1d likes e3 to save power counters, and chop bot + clone chips to get a fresh install.

Now you can make extremely cheap runs, what do you want to do? R&D Interface to dig for agendas, or Notoriety to score points out of your own deck. Note that Doppelganger lets you score two Notorieties in one turn.

Tyson can also fetch generically useful defensive pieces depending on the context: Plascrete Carapace, Feedback Filter and Lemuria Codecracker can protect you from a range of nasty things the corp might try to do to you.

Finally this deck has economy. Magnum Opus fits in thanks to the extra memory from Doppelganger, but an early Kati or Daily Casts can also set you up for that big turn where you can run any and every server with your Darwin and D4v1d. Inside Man is also useful since it can save you a lot of credits on hardware. The main drawback is the slow start with only Sure Gamble to rely on to get you up to speed.

Tyson Observatory is available for deckbuilding. You likely need to do a hard refresh (ctrl-f5). I've built several decks with it already.
