Thanks to Kikai for their latest iteration of Crew Hosh! I took this slightly tweaked version to a 19 person District Championship, where it went 4-0 in the Swiss and cut.
I was very tempted to play a Stargate version again, but this time I decided to stick with the tried and tested trio of The Twinning, Cupellation and Eye for an Eye for better HQ disruption. The only changes I made compared to Kikai's list were -1 Tread Lightly, -1 Mystic Maemi, +1 Bahia Bands and +1 Fencer Fueno.
Were those changes improvements? Hard to say! The raw value of the Bahia Bands was useful for keeping up the deck's momentum, and each of its modes came in useful in my testing and actual games, although I would likely have missed having a Pinhole Threading if I had encountered more SkunkVoid.
Fueno was decent in multiple games, and it was easy enough to find uses for the Fuenobucks (particularly trashing, Bahia installs and Cupellation triggers). The consistency of having a third Maemi might have been better, as Kikai suggests in their writeup, but just look how happy Fueno was to be part of the team. How could I say no to that face?
Also, once again, I included Ashen Epilogue and didn't end up playing or needing it even once. It should almost certainly be something else, like a second Cupellation or a Miss Bones.
The matchups on the day were:
Round 2: Win vs Loud PE.
Round 4: Win vs Core PD.
Round 6: ID (but played and won) vs AgInf.
Cut Round 1: Win vs Loud PE.
