Just In Time - 3-2 at East Coast Canada Nats

I had an absolute blast in Montreal for CanNats. I drove up from the Boston meta to my first major tournament, and could not have had a better time. Thank you to Andrej, Maddie, John, and all those who made the event happen. Thank you to all the Canadians who made me feel welcome, with a special shoutout to the Ottawa crew! Thanks to Kevinth, Izzy, and Trillian for being excellent travel partners.

Sokka's decklist from Cascadia (A Timely A Teia) really caught my interest, and I couldn't stop jamming games with it. It felt like the deck could play really fast on the edge with a few tricks, or could slow down and tax the runner depending on the matchup. In practice, there were many games where I had no choice but to slow down, and solid runner rigs in Lat or Hoshiko would start melting my ice.

My edits removed two ice, one Nico campaign, and added two Anoetic Voids and a Tranquility Home Grid. The voids put in work and were a good call, that TranqGrid only felt good if I saw it on the first few turns.

On the day, I flooded like you wouldn't believe. 11 agendas mean giving up at least one to early single access, and the worst games I gave up 4 points in the first turn of RND. Yet when I got a good starting hand with econ, gear check ice, and an agenda, the deck is off to the races. At the very least, almost every game with this list was fun, tense, engaging and dramatic.

I did kill a runner turn 3 with Saisentan. What more could you ask for in Jinteki?

I have also been trying to make the Timely Teia list work and made some similar additions (Tranq & Anoetic) I'm thinking of cutting the amount of agendas down cos flooding is a big issue! Tried bacterial in too to try and manage flood
