Central only breakers and no Quest Completed? Your opponent need only place two paperwalls and will have a 100% safe remote!

This is pure Astrobiotics hate though. People on BGG (thread above) are discussing the preponderance of Astrobiotics at major tournaments and how to combat that. So, yeah, this deck is mostly built around centrals-only and accessing as many cards from R&D as possible. I threw in 2x Femme Fatale just in case. (Also, the Bank Jobs are purely there because NBN-FA-AB will often throw down a SanSan undefended.)

Well, if your intention is to do R&D hammering ...why not get R&D interface instead of Maker's eye?

An interesting first take at a criminal R&D deep dig deck. In my opinion, it still needs quite a bit of work. Here are some things that stand out to me as needing a bit more consideration.

  • Running 3x Special Order AND running 3x of all of your ice breakers seems very redundant. Consider running fewer breakers.
  • You have very little R&D pressure outside of The Maker's Eye. The goal of this deck is likely to try and R&D lock the corp and use Imp to keep them from drawing into a Fast Track. If that is the case you absolutely want to be running R&D Interface instead as it will give you much more consistent pressure and a solid R&D lock.
  • Indexing is likley out of place in a deck that is seeking to R&D lock the corp. Consider -1 Indexing, -1 Imp, +2 Medium instead to really ramp up the R&D pressure and force the corp to waste turns clearing viruses.
  • Bank Job is very situational, and not very good against Astrobiotics since they don't run asset economy. Consider Security Testing instead since you can use it on centrals. It also helps to build up Medium counters.
  • 3x Legwork is excessive. You don't need to get into HQ that often, since the goal of this deck is to never let the corp draw an agenda. Likely running one copy would be sufficient, especially since you are running 3x Planned Assault.
  • Dirty Laundry is amazing in this deck as it allows you to keep up your R&D pressure while also building economy. You should be running 3x.
  • 3x Forged Activation Orders doesn't seem to have much synergy with this deck. Consider 3x Emergency Shutdown to keep taxing the corp and reduce the cost of your R&D pressure.
  • 1x Demolition Run would have great synergy. Especially since you are running 3x Planned Assault. It makes it possible to set up huge multi-access R&D runs. Not sure what I would cut in order to fit it in though.

All in all it seems like the deck might be interesting. A combination of R&D deep dig along with the typical criminal credit denial. The combination of the two may prove powerful.
