Obmani Senai

This deck got me 2nd place at Swedish Nationals 2024, going 3-0 in Swiss and 1-1 in Top Cut

It's based of what testrunning brought to EMEA. The big change is the addition of Amani Senai. It was intended to help against WT Ari, where hitting World Tree will cost them 6 to repair, or hitting LilyPAD to force them to lose programs to MU deficiency. I expected it to also help against Esâ Afontov: Eco-Insurrectionist, and I saw both of these matchups as difficult. What made me commit to bringing it was searching NRDB for OB+Amani to see what others had done with this combo, and saw that it has never been published before. I love underdog stories, so if this card combo has never been played before then I have to bring it and see how it performs!

Evaluating the deck after the tournament, I think the original deck would have performed just as well if not better. There might be more to explore here but I'm not sold on it. Still, it was fun to bring a new twist on Ob, and to see peoples faces they when they see the Amani.
