This is the corp deck that carried me to first place at the Millennium Games Store Championships in Rochester, NY. It went undefeated on the day, beating Jesminder, Pitchfork Haley, multiple Leelas, and multiple Whizzards. It’s a fairly standard Foodcoats build, with a few modifications to combat Anarchs.
Card choice nitty gritty:
1) Biotic Labor – Most other lists use these 2 slots for another CVS and Archived Memories, but these were hands-down MVPs on the day. In most of my games, this was the finisher, either scoring from hand or scoring a single-advanced GFI the runner didn’t check. Especially in the Shaper matchups, establishing a remote they can’t just money through in the late game becomes challenging. Also helps fire early Beta Tests against Whizzard.
2) Will-o’-the-Wisp – I dropped an Ash to bring this in as a Faust deterrent. Most Anarchs run recursion, but not a way to find icebreakers from their stack (until they’ve drawn the whole deck with Wyldside), so this worked out nicely.
3) Architect – 3 of these seems mandatory to me in the current meta. Totally worth dropping the second Caprice to have these.
4) Wall of Static – Traded a third Enigma for this to diversify early game gear-checks, and be one strength more resilient to Parasite.
I’m not sure how well this deck will function once Councilman and Political Operative are out, so enjoy it while it lasts!
