The Board Runs Jinteki

LimiterDrive 22

This deck... Is Hilarious. No really, try it. You'll be both entertained and quite surprised at how well it manages to accomplish it's tasks.

Generally speaking you're trying to get the runner to crash into an Archer late in the game, late enough that their recursion isn't really available anymore from the tons of net damage they should be taking. The Board helps you keep from losing, since the deck tends to run porous for the first half of the game. Once the runner crashes into Archer, you should have plenty of scoring windows available. You just want to either let the runner have 6 agendas and fast track into scoring your philotic, or you can score out and win. A third, but more rare, win condition is Komainu with a scored House of Knives, since Corporate Troubleshooter can ruin math.

Just remember standard shell game stuff: install over shocks and shirkyu's, you want them in archives; keep snares in hand, they're the big dissuaders to HQ runs; keep enough credits on hand to fake a snare or other trap when you install anything.

As for discussion, I'm considering dropping Hedge Fund for Melange or Private Contracts. Both have a much lower minimum credit cost than Hedge, and end up giving more credits over time if they can stick around, synergizing with Corporate Troubleshooter. They also tend to work well as baits, forcing people to face check ice, like Archer.

Would appreciate thoughts!

My IG deck - netrunnerdb.com utilises the Corporate Troubleshooter / Komainu / House of Knives Combo quite a lot, it's quite do-able. The biggest problem is econ to boost the strength of Komainu high enough for non-fixed sentry breakers, and while Melange did most of the work it was thanks to IGs ability that kept it on the board.

I'd recommend removing the Shocks, replacing them with advancable traps. Drive-by is a thing, so pack some psychic fields. I can see why you're taking Shi-Kiu, but I think you'd be better off with Neural EMP. With the right condition they could get damage though a Snare, then EMP them three times for a flatline.

That would take this in an entirely different direction. Advancement traps can't be baited as 1 pointers against anyone wise to your game. They also are resource intensive if the ruse fails, since you'd have spent alot of credits and clicks advancing them, only for the runner to not take the bait.

Psychic Field hits things if you win the psi game, sure, and drive by is a thing, so maybe; however, I like to dissuade archives runs with the shocks, so I would be losing that capability. It's a definite maybe.

Shi.Kyu is a staple for the deck. Part of the goal of the deck is to get the runner to 6 cards in their score area. Ski.Kyu does that, extremely safely! It also can be a large hit of net damage if they don't want to take the -1 point Agenda, so it's win/win for me if I spend lets say 2-4 credits.

Neural EMP's might be good, but I have a hard time finding room for them, and they tend to clog the hand up waiting for that perfect kill play.
