Quetzal - Faust, D4v1d & e3... Corroder's for chumps

Bitrix 95

I've been playing Quetzal for a long time. The thought of going to a tourny with anything other than Quetzal has been taboo to me. How do I keep Quetzal and still have good matchups? I play Faust. Period.

The deck runs so lean that #Anarchproblems just doesn't hurt this deck like it does other anarchs.Obviously, we have our weaknesses however, I feel as though Faust shores up everything we've wanted in an AI breaker for SOOOO long.

Why Quetzal? That's actually a great question. The simple answer is that I like negating 1/3rd of a corps ICE pool just by playing this ID. Besides that, Quetzal has always been a baller with e3 Feedback Implants. You know what else is good with e3? Faust. Faust handles all the small stuff for only a couple cards while D4v1d gets all the big nasty stuff. Anything we really don't want to deal with, we can just parasite away. The best part about sucker/site combo is being able to dump the Parasite from your hand on the run via Faust and install it with Clone Chip all within a single priority window so the corp can't stop you with Blacklist.

Running Faust as your primary breaker allows you to run a really lean econ package as well. I have toyed around with Diesel but decided Levy might just be more important for the long match-ups to ensure we don't run dry in a glacier game. It also allows your entire set-up to be a lot leaner since most of the deck is redundant cards. Thankfully, nothing is useless as multiple copies since everything can just be used to break ICE.

One easy flex slot is definitely the Scrubbers. Those could probably become Imps and possibly play with more versatility. For now, I've stuck with the scrubbers since they still allow you to trash cards for cheap and don't take up an MU.

Thought, comments and concerns are always welcome!!!
