Purplemodernism

scd 190

Completely untested in this version -- I'm just looking for feedback on a rough deck idea, so please comment accordingly.

While the 40 card minimum is nice for Cybernetics Division, the only viable play I can see with it at that size is to get a bunch of 5/3 agendas, 3x Self-Destruct Chips, and then hope you get (or draw for) Punitive Counterstrikes and have a big enough econ advantage to double- or triple- punitive them after they steal something big.

That's fine, I guess, but I'm curious to see if other styles of play can work with this ID. I'm going for a loosely Supermodernism type of deck here, with the (admittedly clunky) net-damage kill in Neural EMP. The ICE is pretty clickable, but at least has the potential of a brain damage (though everyone will be expecting that from a Cybernetics Division deck).

I've got too much agenda variety, I suspect (and too many of them), and not enough ICE. Econ is limited to the Adonises, the Shell Corporations, and the Hedge Funds. I've played around with 3x Turing and 3x Architect, and can't decide if either needs to be that.

So, constructive criticism appreciated. I'm not sure where to go with this.

Also, yes, I went up to 49 cards (and 20 AP). Felt like it was necessary for something like this.

Why did you feel that 49 cards was necessary? I would suggest -1 Heimdall 1.0, -1 Turing, -1 Zed 1.0, -1 Sentinel Defense Program, -1 Cerebral Overwriter, for example. That doesn't change proportions much, with the advantage of a smaller deck size.
