Hubris/Resolve (6th @ NANPC Boston)

This is an iteration on my 4th-place Summer Showdown Ari, in which I got lost in the sauce and threw in totally different tech cards, bloated the list to 48 (but it's all just more draw!1!!), and cut Clot because I didn't respect Sports.

I found out the hard way that Blame Never Changes in game three in the cut which ended my run.

Despite that I am still very happy with my run in this tournament. I won my first three swiss games, then lost two more in a row and ended up in a win or go home situation with three more to play in a truly stacked field. However:

Even though my run ended at 6th in the cut, this tournament and the one last week have helped cement a new resolve this year to keep trying to get better at this game. I felt like my play had plateaued for some time, and it feels good to believe there is more room to grow. 💚 Bost always for the support.

Let me end with some reasons why this tournament was a fantastic experience in every way:

• Great store location that gave out generous store credit for the top cut
• Run like a well oiled machine with Ysengrin, NotAgain, Whiteblade, and Jamie all teaming up for judging and running rounds
• Insanely high quality stream team that made this mistake of letting me ramble on comms :D
• And most importantly, a mix of some 40 odd new and old NetRunner friends that make all the travel and walks to sketchy SubWays so worth it
