This was the deck I took to the regional champs in Warren MI this past saturday. I made some changes from my Madison deck, hoping to add more scoring threats. I ended up scoring 8 points of agendas on the day, 2 in my last match vs Noise. The rest were kills. I had a semi-sad performance of 4-3 in swiss and 0-1 in elim (number 3 seed losing in 2!) I think I got 7th, but maybe 8th.

Over all the scorch was slower, and the sansans (both kinds) were not good adds. The markus hit a few times, but I think BLC and bastion + more private contracts would be better.

It amazes me people use marked over private contracts, you get more money than the runner faster, and it has the same trash cost. I'm considering 3 for my next regional

2 questions!

  1. How did Virgo suit you? Were you often able to fire off the trace at a point where you could land the tags and have them matter?

  2. More or less the same question, but with Markus 1.0. Did it ever do any card trashing?

Virgo was solid at both regionals. Noise always got hit for 2 tags since I usually use it as archives ice. Vs ppvp Kate it fired for a tag on rnd on a makers run, hitting tgtbt for an unexpected second tag, leading to a bigger midseasons. Its also good for protecting private contracts, since they can't just eat the trace and smoke 1 tag like Gutenberg. Also it helps the spread vs Atman

Leading into Markus over eli. I figured that decks that would run Corroder and not lady already run poorer than decks that run lady, which is just being taxed 1 and a lady counter, but already make tons of cash (barriers aren't money tax vs them). So, giving spread vs Atman, downward, was a better choice, since Atman at 4 is so good already for data raven and IO. If ppvp Kate sets Atman at 4 proactively you get small odds at a program trash, but good odds on loss of a click, instead of just etr. Also vs medium digs, if I have 4 and the anarch presumes it to be a toll booth or something I can smoke a medium if they run last click for whatever reason(worked once vs anarch and once vs criminal).

Could you elaborate on why you thought the Sansan Grids were a bad include?

Also, 2 Jacksons and no DBS seems risky in a deck where agenda flood is basically gg.
