Postmodernism Plutus

Nuvem has been my favorite Corp ID ever since it was released. Its blend of high economy and control over the top of your deck has been so much fun to work with, and with the release of Elevation, it's only gotten better with the help of some fun new toys.

General gameplan: Build a scoring remote, but put Plutus in there instead of your agendas. The longer it stays alive, the higher your odds of winning. In the very early game Plutus won't do much for you, so just focus on installing ice and playing operations, but by turn 5 or so there should be enough in the bin to get Plutus rezzed (either by forfieting a Greenmail or by just discarding 3 cards).

From there, we're trying to build up enough money to get two Big Deal played. If you have any choice in the matter, you typically want to make sure your first agenda scored is The Basalt Spire. Big Deal is vulnerable to getting trashed, both by your ID and by the Runner, so having a way to quickly scoop it back up from Archives is key. Your seventh point can come either from one of the Greenmails, or by using Plutus + Petty Cash to FA your Above the Law. Alternatively, if the game goes fast enough and you've got the Runner locked out enough, you can simply trash the Plutus and put the last 5/3 in that scoring remote, IAAing it normally.

Of course, it wouldn't be a variant of the supermodernism strategy without a deadly punishment if the Runner tries to stop you. In a postmodern world, tags are no longer required to kill the Runner, and Measured Response fits that description perfectly. This deck has multiple ways to make sure you always have enough on hand for a kill if the Runner drops below hand size, such as Pivot or The Basalt Spire. In the late game, the biggest part of playing this deck well is keeping an eye on the runner and figuring out if you should plan on winning via kill or winning via score, and trying to make that reality happen.
