A deck that can comfortably run at 3 credits all game. Abuse you ability to rez the space ice, and trash breakers with Marcus Batty and Power Shutdown. Save Trick of Light to win the game or to take our their heap with a Chronos Project when there is something in there that shouldn't be.
Great against fixed breaker decks that are the new hotness apparently, and deck that attack your economy.
Patel is a hard matchup

Off topic, but since you mentioned it: PAD Factory is totally going to bring Woodcutter out of that dusty box in the garage I had to leave it in. I couldn't be more excited. On topic, I really like Marcus Batty here. I think you might want Crick, Architect, or most likely Interns to keep him in play. If you ran with the recursion package, Recruiting Trip would let you run a single copy of Batty and maybe The Twins or something. That play does tip your hand though, which may not be desirable. |

Popeye09 Searchlight is basically the same as Pup. It's just a cheap ice to place on a central to slow them down. If they know you have no Meat Damage and they have no resources then it's a dead card. But most of the time it's a small tax for 1. Everything else you mentioned requires more credits to Rez. Which doesn't allow you play with low credits in the bank. Depending on the Meta you can switch them out for Shadow or other cheap ice. |
I'm confused about the inclusion of Searchlight. Could you explain what it does in the deck? You don't seem to have a particular reason to tag the Runner, and if it's just a taxing advanceable ICE to switch tokens to/from, surely there are better options? Advancing it doesn't increase the taxing nature of Searchlight, unlike Shadow, Fire Wall or Swarm (even Woodcutter or Salvage!).
