Standoff Facet (5th @ Shark Tank, Torino)

Brought this slightly updated beast of a deck to the hardest tournament of all District season. Good way to say goodbye to a meta. Missed topcut because I forgot to properly play around Augustus's Deep Dive threat on the one turn where it really mattered, despite having Eminent + Tucana to really shore up centrals if I wanted to. The best play was beating rubenpieters's remote lock and Stargate threat by extracting a Holo Man into my SDS and then Slash and Burning it. This deck is very good at reminding you of your flaws and mistakes, with no loss feeling unearned and with saving a disadvantaged game feeling like you're the smartest player of all time. I love my boat so much.

It's incredible how the people who play this game consistently end up being the best people I can meet. Excited to meet y'all at more big tournaments in the nearish future :)
