Hivemind Hosh (2-2, 3rd @ Cascadia Throwback)

I piiloted this list, along with my Chronos Protocol list, to 3rd at the Cascadia Throwback tournament, with mixed results.

Similarly to my corp, this one was running pure nostalgia vibes, calling back to the Hivemind MaXx that I jammed a ton of years ago. Unfortunately, losing Knobkerie hurts and we have to replace it with Contaminates and Friday Chips and a T400 just to duct tape it back together.

Ultimately, its probably better as a Progenitor Loup deck like the one that FireRL brought, but Imping everything felt like a good strategy going into a sicko killer corp format.

Ultimately it just to slow an clunky to make too much happen too quickly, and we had some misplays. However, we did get our massive Hivemind Conduit digs and our surprise Fermenter pops for 10 credits a turn after we install it. No Tranquilizer kickflips though.

We beat a TableCarnage-esque NEH deck importing Breaking News and an Epiphany deck importing Accelerated Diagnostics combo shenanigans. Our two losses were to combo kill Ob lists where our Imps got a bit wasted on tough Price choices or remote trashes that were more luxuries than necessities instead of just divebombing HQ for combo pieces.

Shout out to Aruzan, who knocked me out of the cut with a totally sicko end of turn Mavirus pop for Chairman Hiro to guarantee the combo kill. golf claps
