The core issue - 54 cards (lethal) (last @ SweNats 2024)

Reverse 47

This is the janky corp deck I took to Swedish Nationals 2024 in Malmö! I actually had some hopes for this one, so I was disappointed by it going 1-2-0 on the day. I never even drew a Hypoxia! In one game I drew the first Hangeki 20 minutes into the round.

I believe in the deck and will keep playing it (its track record on Jnet at least is pretty good).

I loved the tournament! Thanks to Naim for organizing, to the judges, and to the fine folk who took themselves to Malmö to play Netrunner.

Here's the original description of the deck:

Can we flatline the runner with (mostly) core damage?

This deck is a slightly more sane version of my other Core Issue deck (that uses only core damage and strictly no other damage). This one is more relaxed: I allowed myself one card with another type of damage: End of the Line. That way we can sometimes actually do it.

The idea is: get the runner to accept enough core damage to get them to a low hand size, and then try to kill them with End of the Line.

In the meantime, we also threaten to score out, mainly with Ontologicals.

We have 54 cards to avoid decking out. This shit takes a while. We also save time (and strengthen our Giordano Memorial Field) using -1s.

Getting them to accept core damage or -1 points

Forcing them to take core damage
