in the episode of Star Trek The Next Generation "The Inner Light" there is a haunting story of experiencing a bygone civilisation.

And as I was listening to that tune, as I do, I reflected on change and I built this deck.

Mushin no Shin and Marcus Batty have given me so much in terms of what is passed, as have so many of these cards (some of which it turns out aren't rotating, though some are).

So I wanted to make a deck to say goodbye. I played it a few times and enjoyed the past.

The culmination of the episode involves Captain Picard reflecting on the fact that so long as he remembers them, the people are not really gone. And he allows himself to enjoy the life he had before.

Goodbye to these wonderful cards.

And onto the future.
