This is one of the decks featured in my Beginner’s Guide to Eternal a guide to how the Eternal format works and the common decks in it, this is reg crim.
Over the years, Crim has gotten a lot of cards that are just plain efficient. Shapers and Anarchs need to deal with “efficient if,” but as it turns out, when you put a pile of 45 really good cards together, the deck is really good.
3 Points: Account Siphon
2 Points: Crowdfunding
1 Point: Aumakua
1 Point: Aaron Marrón
Your deck is full of power cards, and ways to turn your pile of money into accesses. Keep the corp poor and busy while you use Medium and singles to find a win over time. Account Siphon is the best card in the deck. Use it to create openings on R&D or a remote server or to just make massive money. You usually shouldn’t clear the tags from siphon by hand; if the corp is poor (0-2 credits), they usually can’t kill us, and it’s far more efficient to use Aaron Marrón or Citadel Sanctuary clear the tags for us. In addition, against non-tagkill decks (NBN or Ob) you can usually just float the tags; if they're spending their time trashing resources, that’s usually a good thing. When mulliganing, don’t just look for key power cards; instead, look for a hand where you can play 4 cards on turn 1. Leveraging Andy’s strong opening hand is how we snowball our opponent. If you can play less than 3 we almost always mulligan for a new hand.
The key card to be aware of is Account Siphon; leaving HQ undefended can instantly lose you the game, so either find a way to dump your credits, tech against the run, or punish the runner when they do it. Beyond that, you're mostly dealing with a reg Crim like you normally would, depending on your corp; try to rush out your combo or ice up to deny value runs.

Toron
We've got a number of viable rebirth options. Against non-scoring decks, we usually grab 419 for economic pressure. Against non-tagging decks, Liza offers valuable tempo. Against grinder or replicating perfection, we're happy with Steve for extra value. It's also occasionally right to grab Sable, Mercury, or Zahya (if we're on Hades Shard.) |
Who are your rebirth targets? Maybe leela with medium digs?
