CT Hates Fast Advance

First off, let me be clear that I have yet to test this deck at all. Basically me just trying to smash two different gimmicks that I've wanted to try into one deck. LLDS & cheap program recursion + The Source & Chakana for slow advancement. Is that a good idea? Probably not, but here we are.

Since you're looking to leverage the 3x LLDS and the install, why not run 3x Same Old Thing to allow you to scavenge 6 times before you LARLA?

It never occurred to me that LLDS stacks. You get 3 of them on the table and your breakers get +3 when installed. It even works on AI, Darwin being your cheapest bet, but Crypsis gives you more flexibility. I like the concept.

I think it'd be better with Kate, though. If you're going to be trashing your programs, CT's +1 MU isn't going to benefit you, but Kate's reduced install cost definitely will. Plus, then you can take advantage of the Link and get more passive econ from Underworld.

To be honest, I find the idea a bit strange: what is best, to install a faerie with a retrieval run? or to use Garrote instead and keep it forever? Likewise, Cyber Cypher Vs Torch...you only need to install once and forget.

I understand you want to use LLDS, but personal touches seem better to me

Thanks for the input everyone!

@lghitman I hadn't considered same old thing, that's a pretty good idea.

@bourgman I was drawn to CT for the 40 card deck, trying to get the LLDS system set up asap. You're right though I'm not really making use of the MU...

@Nushura Yes I could do those things, but I'm toying with the LLDS gimmick.

Until you've actually seen a proper LLDS deck in action, it's super-easy to underestimate the raw power of their power turns and the speed with which they actually happen.

Probably I am underestimating the power of LLDS. My main point is: if you are going to install things with a Retrieval Run, you may as well replace the Cyber Cypher for a Torch...or better yet: simply change RR for a SOT

This is something I see people do a lot, and I'm convinced it's a pretty glaring error. Think about it this way: you're basically improving your best case scenario at the cost of not having a plan B at all.
