HB "Vex the runner"

First Corp Deck

HB seemed like a good one to start with so I used a lot of ICE from varying factions, types, and costs/strengths while sticking to agendas I could score pretty quickly.

I really like ICE that gives me s and ice like Chum that makes the runner worry.

Will probably soon try testing Voting Machine Initiative in place of Priority Requisition.

Suggestions are welcome. I'm still learning deck building.

This is a nice attempt for 1st deck. I would suggest dropping some ice. Using 17-18 is enough for a corp, You should add 3x Jacsong Howard. Also try to think alternative ways to win. Like using the in faction Biotic Labor for fast advancing the last agenda. HF

@Ian517: My meta is pretty small and casual so far, so even this is fast. But I definitely hear you. There's a store championship coming up in a month at my LGS that I'm considering and I'll need to implement those kind of changes prior. I didn't even have any Jacksons before today. Do you recommend keeping the diversity of ICE and just reducing copies, or nixing particular ICE entirely?

Wall of Thorns can be a beast if the runner is unprepared (like runner with just a killer and some s against bioroids), but in terms of rez-cost/break-cost ratio it's really not great, so I don't think it really needs to be a 3-of.
Same goes for Neural Katana. If it hits, it's awesome, but if the runner has a Mimic it's a crappy tax.
Those would be the first ICE I'd reduce.

I assume you don't have Corporate Sales Team or Advanced Concept Hopper? Because they'd be superior versions of your Corporate War...
Also, personally, I'd not use this as a 3-of and the others as a 2-of. It just doesn't feel like the "best" agenda of your deck. I'd make it a 2-of and add a 3rd of one of the other agendas.

@Krams: Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't have Sales Team or the Hopper before. Lucked into someone selling a box of 1 of everything at a discount the other day, so I'm very happy. I have those agendas and Jackson now, to say the least.

@lyonhaertSince i don't know which expansions you own, i would only suggest to have a plan when choosing walls. Every wall has its role. Example: Vanilla is a "gear check" wall for fast decks. Heimdall 2.0 is the most taxing HB wall. Elli is cheap and taxing, it is efficient. Ichi is taxing while neural is one time tempo hit. You should decide your walls based on consistency and deck's game plan, playtest them (it is more fun - otherwise netdeck ^^). But i am sure, you click for money all the time. Which means one thing. You need more money!
