Dec@Day.10 - Clicks Of Our Lives

WizardOfWinter 24

Dec@Day - Every identity, one day and deck at a time. It's like NaNoWriMo for Netrunner! More info in my profile.

Recent tournament darling Replicating Perfection almost builds itself: taxing ice on Centrals, with well-protected Agenda server, with False Leads and Nisei MK II making the click compression even worse. The strategy's incredibly strong, but I wanted to make running remotes even more difficult...hence, Hourglass.

Face-checking an Hourglass lets us stop the Runner's turn wholesale. Our other Code Gates--all of which get stronger with scored Encrypted Portals--strip a click, take two credits, or guarantee even worse. Now that our hapless Runner's run a central, their remote run is protected by a Eli 1.0 they can't afford to click through or an Ichi 1.0 ready to destroy their Decoder. Even if they survive that, Will-o'-the-Wisp still magicks away a breaker, and Caprice Nisei turns back time all by herself. Just like a soap opera, the Runner's going to spend a whole lot of time doing nothing at all--perfect.

Questions, comments or suggestions? Feel free--the entire reason I'm doing this is to increase my deck-building skills. Next up is Andy--who's just so hard to make a deck for...
