MaxXsucker

Its been a while since I posted MaxXsucker (like two packs ago!). So instead of adding what version # this is (since there have been just way to many versions of this deck both on and off of NetrunnerDB), I decided I'll just go back to a clean "MaxXsucker" title. Anyway, this version is VERY different from my last. And by very, I mean marginally. Let's get to it!

First of all, Ice Carver is gone!! It served me well, but I decided to make better use of my D4V1D. Now, I plan on cutlery-ing everything that causes me problems! Well, not everything, just Code Gates and Barriers. But if anyone rezzes a Tollbooth or Wormhole, I plan to only get through it once! I also decided to keep and increase the number of Retrieval Runs, just to emphasis getting my rig up faster. I changed my econ a bit. I decided to go with Dan D'Argenio's resource economy package because Student Loans is a headache, and without Prepaid Voicepad, it just makes sense. Additionally, I included more economy cards, which should DRASTICALLY help smoothen out that point in the game where I am sitting at less than 5 credits. My econ package should include a lot less clicking for credits now :D. Overall, this new overhaul should make MaxX a LOT more aggressive.

I added a Plascrete because I feel like I only consistently lose to being murdered. I also took out a Yog.0 and 2 Knights because I'd rather Parasite-kill all of the Code Gates. If I have to bring out Yog later on, I'll Retrieval Run it! Of course, this will slow down my deck against Lotus Field, but in time MaxX inevitably delivers my Decoder, so its not unmanageable.

In the past few months, this deck has been playing around adding and taking away the same few cards. Retrieval Run, Cutlery, Knight, and such are always competing for their deckslot. I'm pretty happy with this current version. Its not nearly as broke, and puts on more early game pressure. Give it a try, let me know what needs tweaking!

So is personal touch + yogg your only plan for lotus field? Otherwise, this deck looks like a lot of fuuuunn!

Yup, and it hasn't failed me yet. I've been running Personal Touch with Yog since O&C dropped, and it hasn't really failed me yet. All variations of the deck have ran that, and it has carried me through several store champs. I find it to be a great meta call, and everything higher than 4 strength can just be D4V1D/Spooned to death. I especially like it against RP, since you hit most of their code gates (other than Crick, which is brand new) and it just wrecks RP Grail
