In playing a Tennin Institute deck with a Woodcutter splashed in, I found that Tennin Institute could help make Weyland ice fearsome if the Runner isn't running. So built this as a thought experiment.

You can put the TI's advancement tokens on Tyrant or Woodcutter even if they're not rezzed?

Yep! Unless it's been errata'd and I never noticed, Tennin Institute isn't specific about the card requiring to be able to be advanced. So you can advance Tyrant and Woodcutter even if they're facedown. Or other ice. Or Tennin Institute itself. Then, move the advancement counters with Trick of Light.

Wow, this concept looks absolutely brutal. How much play testing have you had with it? Econ looks a bit thin, as well...though I may have to try this out, as it uses probably THE most hated card atm...Caprice, heh.

I haven't had a chance to do testing with this build, but I've seen Woodcutter get to absolutely brutal levels of advancement in a similar deck I tested. And econ probably is too thin, yeah. Could probably replace Tori with a couple Melange Mining Corp. or PAD Campaign.

Something else I probably need to change is taking out some of the "setup" ICE like Chum, Inazuma, or Whirlpool, and replacing it with functional ICE. Probably Whirlpool.
