Agenda Math Earhart Zahya - 3-1 London CO

xccam 397

This is a fun, if fragile, aggressive runner deck.

I like to play runner decks which try to quickly access Corp cards, put them under pressure, and either win quickly or run out of steam (I played Esa for about a year), so when I saw Amelia Earhart I was thrilled - another card which puts pressure on the corp as I multiaccess.

According to Andrej’s “Agenda Math Charts” you need somewhere between 16-18 accesses to win a game of Netrunner on average. By cleverly using legworks, maker’s, Cupellation, and finality we can access 18 cards in approximately 5 or 6 runs, hopefully combining that with the disruptive effects of “removing all their money” and “putting cards back into their hand”.

The point of this deck is to deliver as many of those punishing runs as quickly as possible with some key cards doing important jobs.

Zahya - 40 card deck and making our multiaccess slightly tempo positive.

The Maker’s Eye, Finality, Legwork, Cupellation - 25% of the deck slots spent on multiaccess.

Hermes - remove ice so we can multiaccess.

Boomerang, Mayfly, Malandragem - Get past the ice so we can multiaccess (sometimes even the remote).

Diversion of Funds, Amelia Earhart - Remove credits so the Corp cannot stop multiaccess. Only 1 diversion, as really we want to hit HQ with multiaccess most often.

The Class Act - Helps draw what we need.

Stoneship Chartroom - Sometimes draw cards, sometimes charge Amelia, sometimes charge Malandragem.

Bravado, Sure Gamble, Dirty Laundry, Daily Casts - Make sure we have enough money so we can install our cards, or blow it all on important Mayfly runs.

The deck went 3-1 on the day, defeating 2 Asa groups and a Jinteki PE with a loss to an Asa group, bubbling out of the cut on strength of schedule (blame the 2-2 Asa Group I corped with).

This deck is really fun, you see a lot of cards when it works well. I wouldn’t take it if you’re expecting to see glaciers.

FAQ:

Wouldn’t this be better in Mercury?

I don’t think so, you need to keep your money up so that Mayflying the remote is a credible threat, Zahya’s is great for that tempo.

Thanks to the organisers for the TO - and to the Readox crew for another great day out (dominating* another tournament).

I love this list, great stuff. Finality in Zahya, what a cool idea. Any changes you'd make following the event?

@revengeanceful That's a great question, and thanks. I think the overall core of the deck is pretty solidly aligned with the plan. Someone suggested to me Pretty Mary to make runs on R&D even more damaging, but I really like the flexibility of the Stoneships.
