Deep Dive Click Negative 1 Cascadia 3-1 [Throwback]

Step 1. Slam every draw card and throw half of your deck into the bin. You want to discard 3+ Out of the Ashes, get some of your breakers down, with some backups in archives that want to be installed with simulchip, have a couple simulchips installed, and a couple Deep Dives in hand. Step 2. Fire the OOTA cannon. Step 3. Deep Dive Step 4. Deep Dive again Step 5. Deep Dive.

During the day this managed to once deep dive on click 1, and even once, gain a Pichachao click during the start of turn out of the ashes, to deep dive at 5 clicks remaining.

The one loss was to an Accelerated Diagnostics End of the line kill deck, where I did manage to pull off the deep dives, but missed and only got 6 points, and died the following turn to their kill combo, after I had run out of steelskins surviving the first attempt. I suspect if I had spent this entire turn digging for another stoneship and getting that down, I might have been able to weather that storm.

Steelskins were the right choice for influence. There were a lot of End of the Line kill decks floating around that I hit during swiss, and more than once they let me tank and urban, or be setup to survive a double EoTL turn.

2x answers for each ICE was also important as I was expecting to run into a lot of Scorpios. I often wanted to have propeller / unity / echelon installed, with gauss / euler / ika discarded into. I did often fire the Cannon pretty early in the games, so having a few copies also just helped for finding the pieces quicker to take the shot.
