Friday Night Run

Snake Eyes 4651

Brewing for the incoming Friday Chip (see spoiler image below). C&C welcomed. Q-Coherence Chip is Friday Chip in this build. On this revision on paper I'm testing out Test Run, Symmetrical Visage and The Gauntlet. D4 and Cutlery to get through the most annoying ICE, and everything else is cheap to Paperclip. Single Maker's Eye to try to close out games. The big benefit of Test Run here aside from being a swell tutor is that you can squeeze more tokens out of D4V1d, and recur D4 or Imp if they got trashed somehow. With Symmetrical Visage you can re-draw it next turn for a minor profit.

Be aware of the wording on Bhagat which specifically says you "force the Corps" to trash, thereby it does not of it's own trigger Friday Chip ("you" the runner trashing being the trigger there). Bhagat is a great card though so keep him. Seems like a cool idea! Consider Hemorrhage for this deck, combo-ed with Edward, Imp, and Friday you can put some very nasty HQ pressure on.

Would Scrubbers be a legitimate include here? I know Imps give you the 5 fingered discount, but if you can't keep 2 or 3 on the board most of the time, then locking down asset spam (assuming you encounter it of course) might be easier this way. I love this decklist, btw! :)

You are correct @umbralAeronaut! Hacktivist Meeting is sort of the same. I like the idea of trying to include Hemorrhage for some extra pressure.

@esutter479 hmm, I don't think that Scrubbers is ever a bad idea, could be an ok way of dealing with bouncing back from a purge. Right now my solution would be to test run a new imp. On another thought path Incubator could help with the post purge life too.

Progenitor is too important to leave out. Combined with Friday Chip(s) you don't need any extraneous source of counters.

I think a main advantage of the infinite Imps is that you don't need additional trashing cards. Few corporations can keep up two installs a turn, trashed for free, without coming out behind. With Hacktivist Meeting on top, I doubt asset spam will be a problem, so I wouldn't bother spending slots on Scrubber.

If you're not going Inject, Self-modifying Code is just plain better than Test Run. Paid ability speed fetching is really good.

I always go Feedback Filter over Caldera unless I'm criminal. It costs 1 less to install and hardware is safer (e.g. Voter Intimidation.)

It's funny how the deck doesn't really need any particular restricted card. The only ones I can think of including are Gang Sign (tons of influence) and Magnum Opus (tons of MU, paired with Frantic Coding,) or maybe Clone Chip.

How do you feel about Gravedigger as a destination for extra Friday Chip counters? If there's anything Data Leak Reversal has taught me, it's that mass milling is a wincon of its own... and since you're running Cutlery and might play against asset spam, it'd get some counters even without Friday Chip support.

I checked and it looks like you were actually running it in the previous version. What led you to cut it? Too awkward? Doesn't match the rest of the plan?
