Nasir Meidan - The Space Rogue v 0.5

Dydra 2805

So this is the alpha version of a deck, which I really want to try out. As of now I still don't have my hands on the cards in the 3rd data pack, so no testing can be done.

I think the general idea is pretty obvious, here is what is different though:

1) you use The Toolbox for extra recurring credits.

2) you use Nasir's ability and Personal Workshop to push out heavy stuff early games ( let alone if the opponent is playing some Bad Pub cards lol)

3) Once you setup everything through mid game, you should be able to break in anywhere with the recurring credits and the efficiency of the Stealth Breakers

4) Cyber Solutions Mem chip instead of Akematsu, because they will be easier to install via Personal Workshop than normally and because you would need minimum 6 memory for 3x Cloak + 3x Breakers let alone Imp and Cache

Things that I'm thinking about:

1) get Legwork and 3x SoT to put HQ pressure in late game ( I have this in my "normal" recurring credits Nasir and it won me a couple of games already). However to do this, I need to thin out some spaces ( maybe an Aesop or Cyber Solutions Mem chip), which is impossible without some play testing. Maybe put in a Nerve Agent If I can't thin out.

2) Not sure if Imp will pay off. The General idea is that many people allow Nassir early game to run free and on many occasions in my games so far I really wished I had an imp in my deck to punish them even harder in those early "free" runs. However, I also found out that Parasite is great in Nasir as well as data-sucker, so maybe they will replace the Imp.

3) Another idea is Keyhole. However, I feel it has a counter-efficiency with a deck that runs Indexing and R&D interface...

As always, if you have any questions and comments, go ahead =)

P.s. Oh yeah, you won't see me having the "barrier stealth credits" HW, because I feel I'll be able to pay up from Ghost Runner and Cloak's. Also Cache+ Aesop's is my idea of how you should play Nasir - having your credits spread all over the board, but not in your pool - so they are a must in my Nasir Decks

Cache, Ghost Runner, Cloak etc. are all nice here. I'm curious, though: how well does this deck function without any other form of economy? Looking at this I feel like a Mopus would be a great fit, but these stealth breakers seem to be pretty efficient...

Great build, I can't wait to try this out.

Well, my current Nasir deck (I have it here, but not published published) has econ that consists of : 3x Ghost Runner, 3x Cache , 2x Net Celebrity , 3x Personal Workshop, 2x Toolbox , 3x Cyberfeeder

That is to say, it has neither Katie Jones, nor Mopus.

I also run the most inefficient breakers ever - Inti , Pipeline and Gordian (thank god at least 1 of them was normal lol). At certain points of the game I had to break Grim for 9 credits etc. etc. and I was still winning games.

That told me that the econ in the deck is fine, without having "big" economy like Katie Jones or Magnum Opus.

Now, I imagine that the same economy would be even better with more efficient breakers (the stealth breakers) and even more recurring credits in the form of all the specific stealth hardware =)

I will say it again, this is my idea of playing Nasir - having the credits not in my pool, but spread among Software, Hardware and Resources. I know people who like him with Mopus and with Katie, because they think he has no "late game econ", after all the ICE gets rezzed, but they also don't have Cache and Aesop in their decks, or a lot of recurring credits :P
