Is Consume worth 10 influence? I'm starting to believe...

I've been playing with iterations on this since the D&D pack was released. Excited for the potential of Consume in anarch, I just shoved the card into a typical MaxX-Inject deck and gave it a try. Turned out pretty good!

Tips:

  • On any given turn, look to trash at least one corp card. Even at that lazy rate, Friday Chip(s) will create a Consume click with equal or more value than Liberated Accounts.

  • Punish the inevitable purges with more pressure, more trashes. Eventually the corp will let you keep those damn virus tokens.

  • Whether you're carrying over Friday tokens or starting fresh, each turn aim to trash first and Consume last.

  • Cut the Run Amoks if you prefer decks to be a tidy 45.

No Knobkierie ??

@byjarke If you want a console then that's the obvious one to take, for sure. I've not yet felt I needed it, but I will have to give it a try.

Okay ran a couple of games with -2 Run Amok, +2 Knobkierie and it does work well.

I do like how Knobby consistently refuels your Imp right before you want to use it each turn, and that translates into constant extra profits in once a Consume is installed. Very cool.

Though I think Run Amok does more for me in this deck, particularly for challenging the remotes of rushy corps.
