Order and Chaos Theory

Devonbuskirk 1

This is my first published deck I have ever submitted. I have been following Netrunner for a little over a year now. I own every data pack (multiple copies for deck building purposes) and every big box along with 3 core sets. The crazy thing is that I have only played a handful of games with a friend....I really need to get out to a league! Anyway, hoping this deck isn't too jank....I think it could be viable.

The idea is to use eater in combination with several pieces of this deck to be able to actually do things while you set up the rest of your breaker suite. Eater grants successful indexing runs, runs for credits off of Desperado, successful runs for noteriety, card draw with John, and free breaker installs with code siphon when the time is right. I hate running without a rig and I feel that eater can help mitigate the need for an early game rig set up.

Ideal end game set up: Programs: torch, eater, mopus, femme, corroder Hardware: desperado 2-3 noteriety scored

Pipeline is for an early game swordsman if it pops up.

Economy concerns me...I don't have the influence for lucky find...I want to play kati but I'm unsure if that's viable with the tagging from john and code siphon/necessary alongside of mopus.

Any ideas welcomed!

Pipeline is just such an awful card though... You'd almost be better off finding influence for Mimic. You can probably get away with running Lady as your fracter and just using Clone Chips and Test Runs for recur it when you run out of power counters.

@cranked pipeline is massive garbage...costs me 4 to break the swordsman :/ I really don't want to lose the corroder...if i went that route maybe i could go...

-1 corroder

-1 pipeline

-1 zu

-1 quality time

+1 lady

+1 mimic

+2 scavenge

The way I see it, Notoriety is great if you can really make those runs on centrals count. If you want to combo it out with Eater, you might want to include Datasucker, Hades Shard, Utopia Shard (those three cards work really well with eater and central runs).

And you're right by the way: go play in a league / at a FLG. Most of the people I've met like that were quite friendly - they do share a hobby with you, after all (for the record, I've never been segregated against in my life, so my experience might not be a good subset).
