Retired, but still dangerous

This is a Big Rig Iain concept deck. Having tinkered with something similar before already, I'm mostly publishing this because Thike wanted to see my take on his deck. Don't consider this finished, it's more of a template to further tune.

The most important thing when playing Iain is definitely not to get too greedy wanting to use his ability. It's not something that you should be planning to use, but rather it's something that alleviates the Criminal faction's difficulty to catch up once fallen behind.

Why Morning Star? Because it's awesome! The up-front cost might seem scary at first, but once you break Eli twice, you're on par with Corroder, and it only gets better after that. Breaking Hive once means you're only 1 credit behind a Corroder play, any more encounters are pure win. The memory cost is usually the biggest problem, which is why I'm using Zu (for additional synergy with the Link bit of the deck). Also, Datasuckers.

If I had two more influence, the card that would go in would be Donut Taganes, to combat Accelerated Shutdown decks and give me an option to go for denial-based play.

Changes to consider: Turn Plascrete Carapace into Crash Space, drop both copies of Lawyer Up, put in third copies of Account Siphon and Same Old Thing.

Sorry, isn't Donut neutral?

@manveruppd He is, but costs influence, much like The Source, Lucky Find and now the three Shards. Neutral cards usually are free, but that's not because they're neutral, it's because they have zero dots printed. These cards have dots, so they cost influence.

You're quite right, I hadn't even noticed the dots on that card! Like Utopia Shard I suppose.
