Anatomy Lesson v2

Based largely on this article: http://teamcovenant.com/botounami/2014/05/20/anatomy-of-anarchy/

I've always wanted to make a good Anarch deck, and I think this fits that bill. Sometimes, things don't go like I want: I lose a my Hemorrhages' to damage; I'll be Siphon blocked completely or otherwise miss all my econ entirely; I can't float tags because Plascretes are MIA; can't find a breaker and Parasite/Djinn are all out of sight.

But when it works...

  • 3 Hemorrhage down is basically GG. I've had a lot of games now where I've gone to click Hemorrhage twice only to realize the corp only has their mandatory draw in hand. And others where the corp drew up with some counters on Hemorrhage left, letting me run once, and mill 3 times, trashing their entire hand anyway.

  • 1-of e3 as it's only necessary against certain Weyland decks (sadly the most popular brand right now, but still). And any more would need dropping an Account Siphon, which might actually be worth it, all things said and done.

  • Changes from AoA skeleton: -3 Data Leak Reversal, -1 Corroder, -1 Knight. These are mostly to fit the program backbone (Djinn/Hemorrhage) nicely. Corroder is neglected for obvious Quetzal-related reasons. Knight almost definitely deserves its spot back, I just don't know what to cut for it.

  • Data Leak Reversal was removed in favor of John Masanori. Draw-less decks don't go over well, inject doesn't fit very well, and influence is otherwise tapped out for other draw.

  • Trying a console/MU-free setup. Ideal rig is Mimic/Yog/Djinn with a slot for Knight/Parasite as needed. Thus, you'll want a Datasucker out ASAP. Djinn might host a Datasucker, either Imp/Medium, and 1 or 2 Hemorrhage, as the situation calls for.

if you are lacking draw go with steelskin. Not only does it give you draw, but it can replace plascrete in matchups where flatline is an issue, and in fact does better because the corp doesn't know you have a counter to their flatline in hand. this means you could drop masanori and at least 1 plascrete, possibly 2, freeing up space for the knight you wanted

@cdwolstenholme When O&C comes out, Steelskin is almost definitely in. Probably exactly with the replacements you suggested.

This deck is going to get so much nastier once O&C comes out and you have Eater to help land the Account Siphon and power the Hemorrhage.

If you are going to go tag me with Joshua B., which is a cool idea, I would go with fewer resources. Armitage is 7 clicks for 11 money, so you can pretty much replace it with a Dirty Laundry without losing too much economy (though then you need an open server, which can be a problem). Or, if you play against PE a lot, you can go with Infiltration. I put two in my Criminal deck and think they are great (though one of my regular opponents usually plays Jinteki). Good luck!

I'm planning on trying out a MaxX deck: netrunnerdb.com

@Oisin Really good point on Dirty Laundry. I'll test that out some. I've been hating mow much time Armitage sucks up and delays runs I need for Hemorrhage pressure.

I'd suggest throwing in 2 E3, minus an account siphon, and fitting a d4vid or two in. The ability to break through big ice with d4vid and e3 is pretty disheartening to any corp and cheap for you.
