Hiros Garden 2

paxvlae 1

Sundew has settled on foilage and so Chairman Hiro decided to have a stroll in his garden. Feeling save protected by Wall of Thorns he stared at beautiful Lotus Field as his mind started to drift away. He was wondering if making Medical Breakthrough happen will help him about Restoring Face or if he should just archive it for later and keep Profiteering..?

Chairman Hiro, eh? Bold strategy! I really like the guy, but you have to be sure you're protecting him well.

As an overall critique, you have things working at cross purposes; namely NAPD, Shinobi and Profiteering. I know you have Restoring Face, but to use it you need to trash Howard or Hiro, both of whom are very useful in this deck. If you're happy to keep Bad Publicity, I would change the NAPDs to Nissei, or Braintrust. Personally, I would try to cut down on the Bad Pub; not only is NAPD amazing, a lot of Replicating Perfection decks work by taxing the runner heavily; bad pub mitigates this. A good example of such an RP deck is db0's Untrashable: netrunnerdb.com

You could change the Profiteering for House of Knives if you want a similar agenda composition. This would also allow you to drop restoring face and free up some card space. Interns is a popular choice, as you can bring back all the assets they trash.

Ice wise, I think Chum is unnecessary. You have so little ice it's never going to be layered deep, so you're probably better off with something taxing or unpleasant. Yagura is a good cheap one, Tsurugi and Koimanu are brutal expensive ones. Also consider Chimera for remote servers; they can't get in if they don't have every breaker, more or less. These decks are rarely hurting for money; eventually the runner runs out of money to keep trashing assets, and it just piles up with sundew and PAD campaign.

I guess the main thing is; How has your playing experience been?

First of all thanks for commenting!

As for bad pub, I usually take two from profiteering and remove them with Restoring Face eighter on Hiro (if there is the slightest chance that runner can trash him) or Howard (if I have other copies of him available, in deck or in hand).

I rez Hiro just after last runner click and before he or she trashes down to his hand size, of course if he or she has more than 3 cards in grip.

NAPD is here more because its taxing than to be scored. Of course I'll score it if I can.

As for ICE set I admit that I sometimes get stuck with Chum in HQ but I just can't leave it out! (works great aganis Inside Job, is cheap and taxing, works great with pup as well as with all expensive ICE).

I know there is no real problem with cred with Sundew and PAD Campains but most ICE here is really expensive so in comes Profiteering. MR Fundraiser is questionable as taxing is main strategy for this deck but I guess it's needed to come out of Siphon lock.

Oh, I forgot, as for playing experience, lost 1 or 2 out of about 6 games (didn't keep track, it wasn't a tournament). Not bad for a more or less raw deck. Lost aganist Iain Stirling, mostly because he had insane econ.
