Hostile Sun

Breaker Bay Grid + Hostile Infrastructure = click for 5 credits per turn. Protect them with Oversighted Curtain Walls for extra laffs.

Overscore an Atlas to fetch the singleton Scorched Earth when they hit a Snare!, if Dedicated Response Team hasn't done the job already. Even if you're not ready to kill when they hit Snare, Hostile Infrastructure will still make them take extra net damage to trash it.

Feels a bit light on ice as it is, but I think there's something here. Comments welcome!

doesn't 1 of scorched lead to inconsistency in flatline? (or do you consistency overseer the Atlas). Also, is the purpose of this deck to flatline or to win on agendas?

Overscore an Atlas if you don't have the Scorched in hand. Since Snare! is the only way to tag, I'm not banking on getting kills that way, but it's good to have the option.

The Interns are kind of a flex slot, they could be dropped for extra Scorched Earth, more ice or maybe The Root. I think it's primarily a kill deck, I'd have thought it'll be tough to score out with it.

Unfortunately Breaker Bay Grid and Blue Sun: Powering the Future are anti-synergistic. With Blue Sun: Powering the Future you get the rez cost back, and Breaker Bay Grid lowers the rez cost so you would be clicking for 0 credits.....

Aw, for realsies? I guess you could bounce back BBG first, then Hostile, then install both on your following turn, but that kinda sucks. I wonder if it could still work by adding The Root though.

If you swing your thinking around, Breaker Bay Grid essentially transforms Blue Sun's ID into something along the lines of: "At the beginning or your turn, you may lose a to choose a server. The rez cost of cards in this server is reduced by 5 until you choose a new server or the runner successfully runs the server and pays 2." Put that way it's actually really interesting synergy, and makes a cool singleton in any asset or upgrade heavy Blue Sun deck. I'd say as far as Blue Sun tricks go its about as useful as running a single Elizabeth Mills, but not as good as Adonis Campaign.

Yeah, that's what I'm trying in the rejig of this deck - gradual BBGs instead of permanent ones. It's actually a pretty interesting card in Blue Sun because of its ability to be moved around.
