⚡️electric eel⚡️🐍 (3-0 @ EA Regionals UK)

this has been my pet deck for about half the time i have been playing standard netrunner, and its come a long way in its various iterations. this represents the 14th revamp of the list, and i felt confident enough with it to bring it to my first tournament in sunny Cambridge

the basic principle is to race through the deck, use wage worker installs to setup multiple remotes for assets / tranq and scoring (as well as turning on fullyOp), and then use some combination of cohort, wage workers or seamless to score unadvanced agendas (ideally in order of offworld -> midnight3 -> ikawah) all the while the runner is slowed down whenever they make a steal or hit our plentiful nightmare archives

most of the includes i believe should be pretty straight-forward, including fairly standard ice setup.

1x malia for surprise rez vs bankhar runs, but is very flexible for turning off all kinds of important runner tools when they least expect it. skunkvoid we slowly add to the scoring remote piecemeal, but manegarm is usually sufficient for the first two agenda scores. unsmiling tsarvena was a late include when i found myself with influence to spare, usually dont mind giving the runner a couple of credits to have two subroutines fire - and this nearly always means we get to draw cards.

a notable absence is ontological, or any other “payoff” to the runner taking core damage. in my view the runner taking core damage is already taxing enough to be payoff on its own.

i was absolutely thrilled this deck performed so well on the day, i arrived hoping to win a single game during the tournament and came away winning 4, and placing 9th overall! my runner deck had a fortunate first game win but subsequently lost the 3 games after. it turns out i was right to fear the Azmari reeducation decks!
