Scylla and Chrarybdis (v. 3)

metalblackbird 49

Scylla and Charybdis refers to the combo of Analog Dreamers and Unregistered S&W '35, designed to flush out those pesky Ash/Caprice combos in scoring servers, although that's an extreme case. Mainly the deck focuses around information and knowing exactly what the corp is up to. Works very nicely against trap decks but is a little too slow against NEH, although Gang Sign should help with that.

Why Raymond Flint instead of Infiltration?

Also, if you are going to run Gang Sign, Logos and HQ Interface are worth looking at (especially HQ Interface, that is just a dick move).

Something absurd but hilarious, and illustrates why Blackguard is Silhouette's console:

Run HQ. Silhouette: Stealth Operative triggers. You expose a sysop, which the corp is forced to rez by Blackguard. You use Unregistered S&W '35. Final click, you run the remote and take the vulnerable agenda.

It's just too bad it's so damn expensive.

@FarCryFromHuman I use Raymond Flint for click compression as well as threat. I did run Infiltration but that's being replaced by Drive By. I've always found trashing Flint preferable in a game situation.

I like the idea of HQI but the deck space is tight. Gang Sign may well go after I've tested it next week but it is a possible gear check against fast advance.

The first Silhouette: Stealth Operative deck I ran was Blackguard/Unregistered S&W '35 but sadly it was terrible as she just doesn't have the cash to make it work. :(

I know, it's just tragic. I want Silhouette Blackguard decks to work so badly. It really should have been 0 and cost like 6 or something.
