what i did on my holidays (part 2)

Nicky3.0 26

... yes that's right i went to all six uk regionals

shoutouts + hugs to Harper(Lovelace), SanguineMagpie, Not_Yeti, who each went to 5, and all other regular attendes, nice to see you all so much

i was on Wage Workers Asa Group / Deep Dive Sable at every regional, with a few swops and changes. these aren't meta calls in any way, just decks i love. in fact, running the numbers, zero Asa decks and only one Sable deck made it to the top 8 across all the events (Rotomappliance's Sable, 6th at Nottingham - who i even played against - almost had ya, ggwp) - although a player on this exact pair of decks seems to have come 9th in edinburgh. oh wait that's me

so did i do well NO

did i have a good time YES

will i do this again LET'S SEE

the deck:

having been a full-on sable main since she arrived, when bahia bands got spoiled i was like “3 please” - the ability to run and simultaneously draw and install is so awesome - little bonus synergies like aumakua and info bounty which trigger at the end of the run mean you can install them off bahia and they do something straight away. but with NBN / tags reduced in popularity i noticed that was what i was always doing with it, not the other two options, so i tried out window of opportunity for the run+install parts, leaving enough influence to finally afford influence for a decent decoder. shibboleth, begone! katorga breakout is just the funnest card - played around with harmony ar and even ashen for a bit, but “stapled to a run” seems pretty important if you’re trying to dive deep. also 3 bankroll is now the MINIMUM i will consider playing in a crim deck.

go fast have fun
