History

So, like, this whole saga kicked off in Jan '24 and I was just a lil netrunner zoomer tryna flex into the top cuts. The mulch gyat was straight-up cringe and made me lowkey despise the game (still do, especially now that I'm a whole boomer). But since SBT's acting sus about recursion, here we are, back in 2024. If they won’t delete it, ya boi will. And fr, there's a new baddie on the block you gotta deal with, the gang. Old list? Totally not vibing.

I've been keeping it 100 with corp lists that wrecked last year, and the big thing they all had was extra cards besides Spin Doctor to control them agendas. A lot of peeps hate it, me included, but honestly, it’s a must if you wanna have a shot against runners. Data says it’s a corp meta, but that’s just ‘cause regular netrunner's flopping hard, forcing strats that tank vibes on both sides, and someone’s gonna have a feelsbad moment. Also, fam, having 2 angles of attack is key. Relying on one win condition just ain't it.

Let it be on the record that The Metropole Grid doesn't like Deep Dive but you catch my drift.

Deckbuilding

I basically took my old deck and leveled it up for the current vibes. Enter Descent, it’s the go-to card for fixing our skibadi draws without spending any influence. I was running 3x for ages but dropped to 2x and decided to vibe check the luck gods on the day.

2x Scapenet was non-negotiable, like it totally handles all the stuff I can’t stand, like The Twinning, Simulchip and the occasional Backstitching. The Big Deal is your savior when someone’s just being a couch potato and not running.

I thought about adding Magnet, but it’s not as lit as the 3rd Mavirus. Last-minute, I threw in Helheim Servers ’cause it sneaks up as a surprise rez, like low-key winning you the game by letting Trebuchet go off or just being a pain with clicks/credits by pumping it once.

The Logjam was a total panic include right before I dropped my decklist in the submission form, coming from what used to be a Watchtower but got cut since I was a total cringe-king. (I totally should’ve stuck with watchtower over logjam). Everything else is just the usual fire ice and cash flow you need, plus all the cards that say ‘no’ to the runner.

How to Play

Okay, fam, this fit's like totally remote-free. Your vibe is to hit ‘em with a solid NO when they run at ya. Just some random dirty laundry? Get scapenetted, trojaned and thrown under the bus, fam. But yo, you gotta stack up to 7 points, like for real. Push for that Project Atlas with 2 counters using that Big Deal. If they come for ya and it's lit, flex those 'no' cards like a boss. This deck just vibes by itself, fr. You play what pops up, and if it’s a major flop, just hit that concede and get bouncing back to living your best life. Shrimple as fr fr. You'll know the deck’s fair when you play it yourself and peep the sus draws you snag.

Performance

It totally went undefeated at the Worcester CO, wrecking a bunch of hosh and a crim, like for real.

At CBI swiss, it crushed it, teamkilling 2 games against freedom and kit, with kit being my luckiest netrunner sesh ever. It also bodied a DD sable and a mulch, no cap.

I had a long day before the cut, was super sleepy and thought about skipping the cut cause I didn't wanna vibe at 2 am...

...but then in the cut, it straight-up gave me some sus draws and I ended up wiping, even though I had the first game on lock, but sometimes they just touch points and it be like that, fr.
