I have a been experinmenting with A Teia: IP Recovery for about 7 months.This deck is what I have brewed with almost half a year of trial and error.Since I am not able to attend tournaments due to time reasons,I decide it is time that I share my decks to the community.THIS DECK GETS A 72% WINRATE ON JINTEKI.NET,OVER A COURSE OF 87 GAMES ,WHILE I AM CURRENTLY WINNING 12 GAMES IN A ROW.So i am absolutely confident it is a fairly good deck.Let us go through it.
AGENDA SUITS
2 Regenesis:the bread and butter to this deck.It helps transfer the win condition to only two scored agendas.(1 Regenesis,1 Fujii Asset Retrieval or Bacterial Programming.)It enables this deck to score really fast as well as unexpexted.
3 Bacterial Programming:It provides valuable R&D searching and reaaranging .Usually remians in R&D or HQ and provides a fair ammount of value if scored or stolen.
3 Fujii Asset Retrieval :provides kill pressure as well as being the main Agenda that should be trashed into archive and put into scoring area via regensis.Being the agenda that should be scored in server 1 in the late game.( servers will be explained afterwards).
The agenda suits contain 8 agendas making the agenda density quite low.Paired with Sadaka,Mindscaping,Simulation Reset,Snare!,and IP's ability,it is extremely difficult for runners to steal agendas without seriosly hurting themselves or giving us a great tempo advantage.
ASSETS
3 Spin Doctor:combos well with Regenesis.
3 Regolith Mining License:the main economy of the deck ,since scoring is really fast and A Teia: IP Recovery provides good efficiency,we have enough to click for .Not to mention we can bare inslall it in turn one.
3 Snare!:the main punishment in this deck, protects HQ and R&D quite well.Can function as a host to place The Holo Man.
1 Urtica Cipher:only cost one slot.It functions as a late game winning condition.Most runners would not expexct that.
1 Moon Pool:the fourth Spin Doctor,a good solution to HQ flooding.
UPGRADES
2 Daniela Jorge Inácio:a must in server 1 ,synergizes with Fujii Asset Retrieval,helps land a killing blow or protect the agendas.
2 Mavirus:add one more net damage or agsinst virus heavy deck
2 The Holo Man:The main scoring tool,used to fast advance a Regenesis or score an unadvanced 3/5.
ICE SUITS
2 Ablative Barrier:Tis is the card that really put this deck to the NEXT LEVEL.It's rezz effect synergizes perferctly with IP"s ability .Helping score the last agenda much smoother.
2 Tatu-Bola:early gear check ,has synergy with ip's ability.Help build the two servers quicker.
2 Sadaka:best R&D protection and trash resources.
3 Anansi:best jinteki ice ever
1 Vampyronassa good on archive and HQ
3 Anemone bread and butter on server 1 ,need to be stacked to work .
1 M.I.C: a good code gate with a soft stop trigger.
SERVERS
This deck aims to create two servers : server 1 and server 2.
server1: this server is mainly used as a killing /lategame scoring server.We stack Anemone on it and put our dear Daniela Jorge Inácio into it when the time is right ,this would make the last 3/5 agenda (favourably Fujii Asset Retrieval impossible to steal.We can also put the Urtica Cipher into server1 to threaten a kill.
server2:this server is mainly used as a taxing/early game scoring server.We mainly put our Tatu-Bola or Anansi protecting server2.Server2 acts as a support to build server 1 quicker while serving as a distraction and bluff to confuse the runner .
WIN CONDITION
There are four scenerios where we win the game.
1.Regenesis+3/5:the most commom cenerio we faced usually we build around our server 1 to pressure a 3/5 score or a kill.
2 3/5+Regenesis:this usually happens when we face shapers.I believe sneaking out an Regenesis is much easier when a Bacterial Programming is scored first.
3 Regenesis+ Regenesis:The easiest way to win,usually need the help of Tatu-Bola or Ablative Barrier to double install on the runner’s turn.Ideally Ablative Barrier should be put in the same server as M. I.C .This can lead the runner into a difficult situation.
4 Flatline:You can always lure runners into a deadly trap.Especially when you have already scored a Regenesis,most runners would take some reaction.This is your time for a kill.
HOW TO OPERATE
1)Get rich 2)decide which server to build first (depends on the runners deck) 3)try to score a Regenesis from hand 4)build server 1 5)score Fujii Asset Retrieval in server1 or flatling the runner in the process (or score a second Regenesis
TIPS
1)This deck is extremely rich,however, to make sure it is operated correctly,we need to sit at around 15 before trying to score.Or else we will become vulnerable when using The Holo Man for the first time.
2)Always remember to ice your archive if you have the right ice.
3)Usually the agenda that goes into archive should be Fujii Asset Retrieval , Bacterial Programming has a much stronger effect if left in HQ and R&D.
4)We should utilize our recursion well ,Snare! should always be the premier target when using Simulation Reset.As it pressures the runner more and more when it is close to late game.
5)use Ablative Barrier wisely,usually it is the game closer.
CONCLUSION
This deck is build around 4 aspects.
1)Card recursion and R&D control
2)Unexpected scoring and strong scoring pressure(thanks to IP’s ability)
3)Running punishments:runner tend to be harmed in most runs.
4)Killing pressure
